School is just around the corner, and FLX Unity Center is making sure the community is prepared for their first day with a Back-to-School Banger on Sunday, Sept. 6, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. This event brings the community together for free back-to-school essentials for families heading into the new academic year.

While supplies last, families can stop by for:

• Simple hairstyles and haircuts from local barbers and stylists
• Backpacks
• Notebooks
• Pens, paper, and other school supplies
• New and gently used clothing

According to FLX Unity Center Director Allauna Overstreet-Gibson. “The goal is simple: Make sure every student walks into the new school year feeling confident, prepared, and supported by their community.”

Give Donations: FLX Unity Center is currently accepting donations of school supplies, clothing, backpacks, and volunteer services.

Donation drop-off: FLX Unity Center, 81 North Street, Geneva, NY Monday–Friday, 1:00–5:00 p.m.

Drop-offs begin August 10 | Donation deadline: August 14
