The Partnership for Ontario County Announces Rebrand
to Ontario Cares

CANANDAIGUA – The Partnership for Ontario County is excited to announce that we’ve rebranded with a new name and fresh, new look. Our rebrand to Ontario Cares reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting individuals, families, and communities with compassion, connection, and hope—values that have always been at the heart of our mission.

Headquartered in Canandaigua, Ontario Cares is a nonprofit organization that oversees a variety of programs and initiatives throughout Ontario County. Our mission is to bring people and organizations together to create real, community-driven solutions.

“Our new name captures the heart of what we’ve always stood for,” said Gwen Van Laeken, executive director of Ontario Cares. “We care deeply about the people we serve, and every program, partnership, and initiative we lead is rooted in compassion and connection.”

While the name is new, our core work remains the same. Ontario Cares continues to provide and support programs such as the EPIC Zone youth drop-in centers in Geneva and Bloomfield, Ontario County Youth Court, short-term counseling, community wellness initiatives, and coalitions focused on suicide and substance misuse prevention.

The new identity, complete with a refreshed logo and website, reflects a renewed energy and focus. “Ontario Cares better communicates who we are today and where we’re headed,” said Van Laeken. “It’s a name that reminds us of our purpose, which is to care for our community and help it thrive.”
