Last weekend, Challenge 22 hosted its annual fundraiser event, bringing together Veteran-serving organizations from across the region, including the VA, Equicenter, American Legion, Rotary, CompeerCorps, Regiment 282, Warrior Salute, Marine Corps League, and ROC Veterans. The event featured food, live music, and resources for Veterans in the community.
In attendance was Veterans Coalition Coordinator Luke Moody, who played an active role in fundraising efforts leading up to the event.
Challenge 22 is dedicated to lowering the rate of Veteran suicide by raising funds to support Veteran-serving organizations across the Finger Lakes Region. “To date, the group has raised over $300,000, all of which has remained right here in our community,” Moody said.
