Epic Zone’s Big Move to 81 North Street
In December, our EPIC Zone Geneva location officially moved out of our old space and into our brand-new location at 81 North Street. It’s not just a new address–it’s a whole new vibe that promises even bigger and better things for the kids who call Epic Zone their after-school home. It’s also the new home of FLX Unity Center, a grassroots community organization that will be overseeing and scheduling community events during Epic Zone’s off-hours.
A Big Thank You to Our Volunteers
None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication of our volunteers. Moving a whole youth center takes a lot of hands and a lot of heart, and we are beyond grateful for the support we received from our amazing volunteers who helped make the transition as smooth as possible. Whether it was packing, lifting, or setting up the new space, every little bit of help made a huge difference, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
While this is not an exhaustive list, many thanks go to:
• The Geneva High School cheer team and parents coached by Yajaira Pesante, Dayshia Bultron, and Aishia Malave
• Chris Brinson from FLX Trash
• Theatre444’s Pam Rapoza
• City Councilman At-Large Ahmad Whitfield
• Side Show’s Taylor Higgins
• Our very own Cora from EPIC Zone Bloomfield and the EPIC Zone Geneva team
• Nick Bessette, Aaron Rosario, La’Sha Sullivan, and Brianna Jonhnson-Whitfield
And more!
Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning of what we hope will be an even brighter future for EPIC Zone and the Geneva community. We can’t wait to see how our new space at 81 North Street will evolve and grow, and we’re excited to continue being a home where young people can learn, play, and thrive.
Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for being part of this exciting journey with us!
