Our Vision
A safe and substance misuse-free community that meets the needs of those who served our country and their families.
What People Ask Us
What is the Veterans Coalition of the Finger Lakes?
The Veterans Coalition supports Veterans and their families through partnerships, events, education, community connections, and substance misuse awareness to help build a stronger, healthier community.
Who does the Coalition serve?
We serve Veterans of all eras, retired and active; military families and caregivers; and the broader community by promoting awareness, connection, and collaboration among organizations that serve Veterans.
What makes your Coalition unique in New York State?
While other coalitions and service groups exist across New York, the Veterans Coalition of the Finger Lakes stands out for its collaborative, community-centered model and its integration into a broader network of wellness and support services. We’re also the first substance prevention coalition focused on Veterans in New York State.
What types of services does the Coalition provide for Veterans and their families?
The Veterans Coalition of the Finger Lakes hosts events that are designed to build connection and opportunities for Veterans to engage with peers and community members. Some of our coalition partners offer mental health and substance use services.
