Letters & Lattes Creative Group for Youth
About Us
Looking for a relaxed space to create and connect? Letters & Lattes is a free weekly drop-in art group for ages 15–22. There’s no pressure, and no experience required—it’s just a welcoming spot to express yourself, try new things, and hang out with like-minded peers. Whether you’re into writing, drawing, painting, collaging, or simply being around creativity, you help decide what we make and how we make it.
Come Chill With Us
Come every week or drop in when you can. Join us Thursdays from 6:30–8:00 p.m. to explore your creative identity, chat about fun topics, and build community in a safe, supportive space.
Get Involved
Open to all youth ages 15–21, including LGBTQIA+ and allies! Join us at ArtSpace36 in Canandaigua for a welcoming evening of creativity and connection. Each week features a new art project chosen by participants, with free snacks, beverages, and supplies provided. The program is coordinated by Karen Guidarelli and supported by FLCC professor of art Liz Brownell. For more information, check our events page.
Create + Connect Art Projects and Workshops
About Us
Create + Connect is a free community art series at ArtSpace36 in Canandaigua, offered in partnership with FLCC. Open to ages 7 and up, the program provides a welcoming space to explore creativity in a flexible, participant-led format—whether in person or on Zoom.
Learn Something New
Held two to three Wednesdays each month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., sessions encourage collaboration, experimentation, and fun, with no prior art experience required. Drop in anytime to relax, make art, and build community.

Get Involved
Join us every other Wednesday from 6:30–8:00 p.m. for Create + Connect! Sessions alternate between in-person gatherings at ArtSpace36 (36 South Main St., Canandaigua) and Zoom, making it easy to join from anywhere. This free community art series provides all materials—you just bring your creativity. Come solo, bring friends, or make it a family night.
