An Epic Place for Youth!
EPIC Zone welcomes all youth ages 12–17, offering opportunities and experiences that reflect the needs and interests of its members. Youth input drives our programming, as we believe in sharing power and decision-making. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment where mutual respect and clear expectations support personal growth and community connection.
A Safe Space
At EPIC Zone, youth walk into a safe and welcoming space. Our clubhouse offers a home-like environment, with a staff-to-youth ratio that fosters meaningful, individualized relationship development.
We get to know each other, and through those connections, we help youth grow stronger and more confident by focusing on their strengths.
EPIC Zone is a drop-in program, welcoming youth whether they come daily, weekly, or just occasionally. Regardless of how often they show up, they’ll always find a space that is not only physically safe, but also emotionally, spiritually, and holistically supportive.
Building Relationships
At EPIC Zone, we prioritize building authentic relationships with youth, at their pace and on their terms, while embracing them in all situations. To support this commitment, we intentionally apply the Developmental Relationships Framework from the Search Institute, guiding our approach to connection and support.
Our goal is to create space for youth to explore their needs and desires, identify barriers and frustrations, and work through solutions with caring adult support. Through this process, we aim to strengthen their skills, build on their successes, and empower them to contribute meaningfully to their community.
Relationship development is at the heart of everything we do. It happens through everyday interactions—by noticing the small things, being present, and engaging in open conversations about whatever topics arise. These moments spark genuine, youth-driven engagement and connection.
Strong Roots
EPIC Zone is funded by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), with Ontario Cares (The Partnership for Ontario County) serving as our fiduciary agent.
Since opening in June 2016, EPIC Zone has remained committed to providing a safe, empowering space for youth. Our beginnings were made possible through a valued partnership with the Geneva Community Center, which generously offered use of their facility. As the program grew, our members began expressing the desire for a dedicated space—one they could truly call their own and feel free to express themselves.
EPIC Zone offers a wide range of daily programming designed to meet the diverse interests and needs of youth. We actively collaborate with community agencies, organizations, and individual experts to bring in unique opportunities and positive experiences that enrich the lives of our members.
