We love seeing our team work together across programs, and this month was a perfect example. Recently, youth from EPIC Zone Bloomfield got crafty in honor of the season of hearts, chocolate, and love. But their mission went beyond celebrating Valentine’s Day—they wanted to brighten the day for local Veterans.

The group created handmade Valentine’s Day cards filled with thoughtful messages and cheerful designs. Our Veterans Coalition Program Director Luke Moody delivered the cards on Feb. 13 to residents at the Veterans Affairs Canandaigua Community Living Center.

Moody shared that the Veterans truly enjoyed chatting with visitors and reading the heartfelt notes. It was a simple gesture, but one that created meaningful connection.
