Take Back Day Success: Over 425 Pounds Collected for a Safer Community
We’re proud to share that our recent Take Back Day event was a huge success—and it’s all thanks to our incredible community and partners!
Together with Ontario County Public Health, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, and Mead Square Pharmacy—with Victor Village Hall generously providing the location—we collected more than 425 pounds of unused medications and sharps. That’s a great step toward keeping harmful substances out of homes, waterways, and landfills.
Events like Take Back Day play an important role in community health and safety. Properly disposing of unused or expired medications helps prevent accidental poisonings, reduces the risk of misuse, and protects our environment.
A big thank-you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped spread the word. Your support made this event possible—and impactful.
